Meetings held at:
Monthly meetings are held at the Textile Center of Minnesota, 3000 University Ave. SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414.

Date and time:
Meetings generally the fourth Saturday of the month, September through May. Sometimes due to holidays they do not meet on the 4th Sat., but on an earlier one…and they do not meet during the summer. You are encouraged to check their website for exact dates, events, class and meeting information.

Classes begin at 9 AM, with set-up and greetings starting at 8AM.  Classes are over anytime between 1 and 3, with clean up to follow.
They have 1 or 2 classes most months, and always have the open weave table for those not wanting to take a class.  They generally have a short business meeting each month.  Annual Meeting is in December, at which date they weave and fill smaller baskets with toilet items &/or small toys for residents at a local women's shelter.

Region Covered:
Minnesota and Southwestern Wisconsin. They also have members from Iowa and North Dakota—no restrictions on locale for membership.

Annual Event:
Basket Bingo in October.

Newsletters are published quarterly; February, May, August and November.

The Minnesota Basket Weavers Guild, formerly known as the Basket Weavers Guild-Midwest, was formed in April 1997 and presently has about 50 members.
